YAMASHITA-MATAYOSHI KOBUDO

Kobudo is the study of Okinawa weapons.  The Yamashita-Matayoshi system of Kobudo has been handed down from the late Shinpo Matayoshi-Sensei who was considered the highest authority on Okinawa weapons in the world.

Learn how the Okinawan people developed a system of self defense using farming and fishing implements such as the bo, sai, tonkuwa, kama, and eku.  The Mystic Dojo is one of a few schools in the world teaching this most pure from of traditional Okinawan weaponry.
